The Brady Fire/EMS Department suffered a great loss on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Bill Fore, an admired and respected member of the department for over three years died unexpectedly from what was believed to be an ongoing medical issue. His passing left the community reeling in shock and grief as many people found out about his abrupt death late that night or the next day. He dedicated much of his life to public service, sharing his bravery and selflessness with all who needed it in order to keep their community safe each day – a legacy he now leaves behind as we mourn this significant loss together.
Who was Bill Fore & How Did he Die?
Bill Fore was a well-respected member of the Reagan County community and a beloved Fire Chief from 2017 to 2019. He completed his education and training in fire safety and first response at Kilgore College. Bill was living with Carly Sloss in Brady, Texas prior to his death. Tragically, he died suddenly on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Though the cause of his death is still unknown at this time, its effects are being felt deeply by those who knew him and were touched by his work in the community. His contributions will not be forgotten, nor will the memory of his friendly smile and contagious laughter that could light up any room.
