CA Man Mike Schultz Body Found Monday In Temecula

The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau has identified a body found south of Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Temecula, California as 64-year-old Mike Schultz of Temecula. The report was made at 6:41 a.m., according to Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez and foul play is not currently suspected in Schultz’s death.

Schultz’s body was found Monday morning by the side of Fiesta Ranch Road, about a mile from his home in the Temecula area. A cause of death has yet to be determined and further investigation is underway. It’s uncertain how long he had been deceased prior to being discovered by local authorities. 

Schultz had been living in the community for several years and was known for being an avid golfer who enjoyed frequenting local country clubs with his peers. He had recently retired after working for many years as an accountant for an agricultural firm in the region. Mike Schultz is survived by his wife and two children who live out of state.
