Cherokee County Accident: Two Teens Killed, Three Others Injured

In a heartbreaking incident that has shaken the Cherokee County community, two teenagers lost their lives while three others were seriously injured when their car crashed into a tree on Tuesday night.

The fatal crash occurred on Towne Lake Parkway near Towne Lake Hills East at about 8:17 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the tragic event, stating that a car carrying five teenagers veered off the road and collided with a tree.

One of the victims, a 17-year-old from Marietta, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another 17-year-old, from Woodstock, was rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

In addition to the two fatalities, a third 17-year-old suffered serious injuries. The condition and identities of the other two teens involved in the accident have not been disclosed at this time.
