Who was Greg Adams?
Greg Adams was a cherished member of the Caraway community. Born and raised in the town, he later moved to Paragould, Arkansas, where he completed his secondary education at Riverside High School. He found his calling in the field of Animal Sciences, pursuing his passion at Arkansas State University. Known for his warm heart and loving nature, Greg was a beacon of light to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Devoted Family Man
Beyond his academic pursuits, Greg was a devoted husband to his wife, Sunni Comstock Adams, and a doting father to their child. His family was the center of his world, and his love for them was evident in every aspect of his life. The void left by his passing will undoubtedly be felt deeply by his grieving wife and extended family.
What Happened to Greg Adams?
On what started as a regular hunting expedition, Greg and his child tragically lost their lives. The father and son duo, known for their shared love of the outdoors, were spending quality time together when the unimaginable happened.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of our dear friend, Greg Adams and his son’s passing today. They were on a father/son hunting trip and apparently passed away due to carbon monoxide poisoning from propane heaters in their camper/cabin. I will update with visitation and funeral arrangements as I find out.
What was the Cause of Greg Adams Death?
In a heartbreaking turn of events, both Greg and his child succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning. The source of the lethal gas was traced back to propane heaters in their camper or cabin. This tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with improper use or malfunction of heating devices, particularly in confined spaces.

My heart is shattered. I don’t have the words to say what you mean to me Greg Adams. All I’ve ever done is brag to anyone who would listen about how amazing you were. You have my whole heart. My IT. My person. The love of my life. You have made me the best version of myself as a woman and a mother- and I don’t know how I’m supposed to do any of this without you. Not everybody gets what we have and I wouldn’t trade one minute of loving you even if I knew how this all ended. The only comfort I have is knowing you and Luke are together. To our friends- I am getting your texts and calls. I appreciate every one of them. Please pray for our family. We have lost two people who are loved dearly. I admit I can not feel God right now, but I know He is here. I know He is GOOD even though I’m drowning in the most unimaginable pain. He is with me and our kids and our family. The last song Greg text me is NOT a coincidence- it is providence. I’ll be there one day, my cowboy. Saddle a horse for me.
