He was a former reporter of KETR 88.9 FM and had been working with the Herald-Banner for several years. Brad was not only an exceptional reporter but was also a great colleague who was always willing to help others.

However, the Herald-Banner reported that he was found unresponsive at the office, and despite efforts by AMR Hunt County medics and Greenville Fire, he passed away in the hospital. Brad Kellar was a loving husband to Vida Kellar and a devoted father of three sons and one daughter.
