Yesterday, we had a great time on gravel in the Holly Springs National Forest, 46 miles and 3000 feet of elevation. We had one rider who was a little behind and finished a few minutes behind us. This Sunday morning on a road ride, Danny Smith died of an apparent heart attack. I took this picture yesterday after he finished. He was jovial, excited, and happy with a big Danny smile. He will be missed by all who knew him. Please keep his family in your prayers.
