Been fighting tears and holding in my feelings since I found out but …. me and Jaylan go back to middle school days …. But in our adult life we pretty much been doing our own things … always kept in touch she ended up moved to an apartment in the same building as my girlfriend she lived on the first floor and we stay on the third floor so I got to see her just about every day the last time I saw her She was concerned with making her mom appointment to get her hair done by me she told me she was gonna pay for it just make her mom look pretty …which was about two weeks ago ….
Ironically, I was actually in the middle of discussing an appointment with her mom then I got a call from my friend who was checking on me and my girlfriend since the crime scene tape was around our building the first thing that came to my mind was Jaylen so I called her mom and told her that her apartment was taped up with crime scene tape and that she needed to check on her … I did hair while I waited on answers on if she was okay and when she didn’t respond I knew it wasn’t okay my hurt has literally been hurts every since . If u knew Jaylen u know she’s the most down to earth beautiful person with a genuine soul she lights up any room she steps in and her smile is contagious She did not deserve any of this and her daughter does not deserve to lose her. Now I have to walk into the same building Her life was taken away from us in without getting to see her smile and wave again smh I feel so sorry that I didn’t know what she was going through and I was right there upstairs….
