According to reports from K5 News FM, the incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. when Baldo, riding his motorcycle, attempted to overtake a lineup of vehicles consisting of a pickup truck and sugarcane truck. Unfortunately, he lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle, resulting in a fatal fall underneath the wheels of the truck. The driver of the truck has surrendered to the authorities at Bacolod City Police Station 3. Baldo, who gained recognition for his rendition of Matisyahu’s “One Day” on ‘The Voice of The Philippines’ in 2014, will be dearly missed by his fans.
