On Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 22, an 18-year-old teen boy was tragically stabbed to death in the parking lot of Tamanawis Secondary School in Surrey, B.C. Surrey. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded to reports of the incident at 12:08 p.m. and found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police have arrested a suspect who has been transported to Surrey RCMP cells. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team will be working alongside Surrey RCMP as they investigate this tragedy. What happened to the 18 year old teen boy?
The teen boy is identified as an 18years old boy who was not a student of Tamanawis Secondary School. The Incident was reported by RCMP at 12.08 p.m and the young boy was found stabbed with several injuries. He was rushed to hospital but tragically did not survive as per the reports. The name and other identities of the boy are yet to be revealed at the moment.

Surrey RCMP is asking for witnesses or anyone with cell phone video of a stabbing that occurred outside Tamanawis Secondary to come forward. The police are still working to determine if the individuals involved were connected to the school, or if they were known to each other.
As per Munn, the stabbing at 12600 66 Ave. during school hours provoked a heavy police response because the priority was ensuring the safety of everyone else at the school. The school was placed on a “hold and secure” until a possible suspect was taken into custody. Police erected a white tent in the parking lot to preserve the crime scene.
