Today the world lost a great man and I lost a good friend. We had just had a conversation over the weekend and he was saying how Ahmed Akram and Tomas Peribonio deserved to be in the USC Athletic Hall of Fame. The hall of fame was Tommy’s baby and it was a responsibility he did not take lightly. I will miss hearing his voice every time the Gamecock Baseball team takes the field.Rest in Peace, my friend.
In these sorrowful times, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and everyone affected by this loss. May Tommy Moody rest in peace and continue to inspire future generations with his unforgettable journey.
