A criminal complaint filed in Cleveland Municipal Court claims that at roughly 7:10 p.m. on January 13, Muniz shot all five victims in the head. According to the police, Muniz waved down officers at about 7:50 p.m. and told them about the gunfire and where the victims were. Around 8 p.m. on Friday, police were called to the house after learning that numerous people had been shot.

They were all residents of the Mack Court complex and were well-known and loved by their community.
